Who we are

Lifeline Direct (LLD) is the national service delivery arm of Lifeline Australia. As a wholly owned subsidiary, we bring together local Lifeline Centres to share resources, expertise and best practice—strengthening coordination, governance and outcomes for the people who need us most.

We deliver Lifeline’s 24/7 crisis support line (13 11 14), alongside face-to-face counselling, telehealth and training services. Our work has expanded to include some of Australia’s most critical free helplines, such as MensLine Australia, Suicide Call Back Service and SuicideLine Victoria.

LLD operates across Newcastle & the Hunter, Central Coast, Eastern Suburbs Bondi, New England North West, Northern NSW, Geelong, South West Victoria, Northern and Western Melbourne, and Central Australia.

At our core, we support communities in delivering local suicide prevention and wellbeing programs, while expanding Lifeline’s reach into areas where support is needed most.
